Key Concepts

The canvas

The canvas is an infinite, free-form workspace. There's no fixed timeline or layout — you place nodes wherever makes sense and zoom in on whatever you're working on. Pan by holding Space and dragging; zoom with Cmd/Ctrl + scroll.

Your work saves continuously. Close the tab and come back — everything is exactly where you left it.

Nodes

A node is a self-contained content unit. Each one holds a single piece of content — a block of text, an image, a video clip, or an audio clip — and has its own generation panel for creating that content with an AI model.

There are four node types: Text, Image, Video, and Audio. Add one by double-clicking the canvas, clicking the node toolbar, or dragging out from another node's connection point.

Tip: Deleting a node discards Text content, but Image, Video, and Audio content is saved to your account assets — so you won't lose generated media by mistake.

Connections

Connections are the lines between nodes. They carry content, not instructions: link an Image Node to a Video Node and the image itself travels downstream as a reference frame — the model sees what you made, not just a description of it.

Content flows one direction only, left (upstream) to right (downstream). A node can take input from several upstream nodes at once — for example, a text prompt plus two reference images.

For the full table of what each node type can connect to, see Node Overview.

Generation

Every node has a generation panel where you write a prompt, pick a model, and generate. Content arriving from upstream nodes shows up here automatically — upstream text joins your prompt, and upstream images or videos appear as references you can point to.

Each generation costs credits. The exact cost depends on the model and settings, and it's always shown on the Generate button before you confirm. If a generation fails, credits are refunded automatically.

Tip: If an upstream node is still generating, the downstream Generate button is greyed out until it finishes — you'll see Upstream task in progress.
